| WHAT IS XBENCH? | |
| ApSIC Xbench is the most powerful Quality Assurance (QA) software that allows you to organize and search your bilingual reference terminology. Thanks to Quality Assurance (QA) functions, user can perform advanced checks on the files defined as ongoing translation. The QA functions try to find segments with the following potential problems: → Untranslated segments → Segments that have the same source text but a different target text → Segments that have the same target text but a different source text → Segments where the target text matches the source text → Segments with tag mismatches → Segments with number mismatches → Segments with URL mismatches → Segments with alphanumeric mismatches → Segments with unpaired symbols (i.e. unpaired parentheses, square brackets, or braces) → Segments with unpaired quotes → Segments with double blanks → Segments where words fully in UPPERCASE do not match between source and target → Segments where words in CamelCase do not match between source and target → Segments that deviate from the key terms of the project → Segments that meet the search criteria of items in the Project or Personal Checklists. | HOW MUCH DOES XBENCH COST? | |
| ApSIC Xbench costs €99/year per user (Buy now or download a trial version from our Software Download section) so it's quite expensive software, especially if you use it only from time to time. | |
| WHAT IS XBENCH PASS? | |
| Xbench Pass is a permission given by TTMEM.com to use Xbench free of cost for a limited amount of time. | |
| WHO CAN REQUEST XBENCH PASS? | |
| Xbench pass can be requested only by full members of TTMEM.com | |
| HOW DOES IT WORK? | |
| The subscription time is purchased by TTMEM.com. TTMEM.com can assign for selected users a certain amount of time for software usage. Users authorized by us can be added or removed any time (we simply need to add the freelance translator email as an authorized user and, once the task is done, simply remove the freelance translator email from the list of our authorized users). When we add or remove authorized users, our remaining subscription time will be increased or reduced accordingly to match the number of authorized users. So, in few words, we deal our license with you. | |
| IS THIS SOLUTION LEGAL? | |
| Absolutely Yes! Elastic licensing is one of the most important aspects of this software. All Xbench licenses are multi-user licenses. | HOW MANY TIMES CAN I REQUEST XBENCH PASS? * | |
| You can request Xbench Pass as many times as you want for your translation related tasks (under the condition that your TTMEM.com full membership is active). If our remaining subscription time permits adding you among our authorized users, we will do it with pleasure! However remember that if you are a habitual user of this program, the best solution for you would be purchasing Xbench. | |
| HOW LONG CAN I USE THE XBENCH PASS? * | |
| The usage time will be agreed each time you raise a request. Just Contact us and we will inform you if there is a free Xbench pass available for you along with its duration. | |
| HOW MUCH DOES XBENCH PASS COST? | |
| Xbench pass has no cost in itself. It is hard to consider it a full membership advantage. Please consider it rather a full member privilege/opportunity. As Xbench license has limit, we can render this advantage accessible only to a limited number of persons. It is something like the cherry on top of the cake for our full members. | |
